Self-care is self-love if you don’t care for yourself you can’t be able to care for any other-self. This is the positive mentality we should have, self-care is a super important aspect of looking after yourself and making sure that your mind, body, and soul are nourished.

It’s not selfish to love yourself

Self-care doesn’t mean selfishness. No, it simply means that you stay away from negativity and only focus on positive vibes, it means that you don’t let yourself down and always do such things that give you more joy and strength so that you accept and love yourself as God has made you.

With my ever increasingly busy life, I often find it difficult to remember to practice self-care routine or fine time to do so. I have found some ways that I practice self-care even when I have a very short time, let me share with you my self-care routine.

Filters are great but great Skin is better

As a girl I really love to my skin so, I took a start from the skin because if your skin looks dull your whole day will go bad, so it is important to take care of your skin to look fresh and untired, your skin explains your body's health condition.

I established a morning and night skincare routine it is not only helping my skin to glow but also keep it fresh. I find the notion of cleaning my skin and moisturizing calming as it helps me feel like I am giving back to myself.

I made a habit of add one glass of water daily to my routine because of a very sudden I cannot drink much water. I use any of aloe vera, mud, or mint mask 3 times in a week. Because these 3 three suits my skin. My skin type is sensitive. I just don’t have to worry about expensive creams and lotion, just take some time to wash my face and add some daily care.

A little exercise is better than none at all

Doing some form of physical activity regularly has been proven to be good for me. I especially enjoy it for anxiety-reducing benefits. A busy girl exercising sometimes seems overwhelming. I find what helps is establishing a routine around my schedule and finding exercise forms that I enjoy. Morning walk, morning pilates, or an after-work run are options I lean towards and enjoy.

Music is a world within itself

Music is my best therapy for relaxation and getting out of anxiety for the whole day and getting into the next world of peace and enjoyment. Listening to music has a powerful effect on my state of mind and self. It can also be done from anywhere, such as on a daily commute. I sometimes put up the headphones and doing all my house chores while listening to music.

I find that listening to music can help drain away from the anxiety that I have been harboring throughout the day and helps me feel more like myself. Allowing myself to get lost in music is a transcendent experience that can take me away from the stresses of daily life and truly nourish the soul.

Remember, Sleep is a part of meditation

A good sleep gives me more power and glows to my face. Even though this is probably one of the most overstated self-care methods, it’s one of the most important. Allowing myself adequate time to rest and recover is vital to my body and mind when I am awake.

Having enough sleep helps me to be more efficient during the day and makes it easier to deal with any obstacles I have to face. Setting a bedtime timer helps me actually get to bed at a reasonable time as I tend to get distracted and forget about going to bed.

Give some Creativity to your life

Practicing and fostering creativity is one of the most powerful ways to care for the mind and soul. I strongly believe creativity is a skill that anyone has the potential for and can grow into a powerful trait if you practice it.

Setting aside just ten minutes a day to do something creative can drain the stresses of the day and help my mind become more focused. On weekends I do something creative like making crafts and making DIY bands and bracelets.

Today's good diet next day’s good body

This may sound simple but ensuring that I eat healthily and get enough water today is vital to the functioning of my body and mind. In summary, it helps me feel good! Doing this allows me to have more energy and feel more positive.

Using some meal planning and prep techniques such as organizing the meal for the week and making large batches of meal to freeze for the latter really helps when I am short on time. Adding some flavors such as lemon and mint to my drink helps me drink more water and I enjoy it.

Make commitments to your Work/study

Being organized in my work or study commitments can really help to maintain a healthy state of mind, as well as staying on top of everything I need to do. Breaking down tasks and setting certain times to do them help me feel more relaxed when I am working and allows my brain to actually relax when I am not working because I know I have done what I need to do.

Keep a good connection with Family and Friends

The people I love are, I believe, the most important and valuable aspect of my life. I never want to lose sight of them, and want to set aside time to spend with those I care about most. Being organized in my commitments can help with this, as well as establishing a set time, such as an afternoon one day a week, can help to make sure I actually spend time with the people I care about and work on fostering those relationships. I don’t want to lose my relationships just because of busyness, work, and study, etc.

keep some Affirmations for yourself

Similar to breathing exercises, these worked into my routine or practiced whenever or where ever I need them. I established three to four statements that help me feel good and fulfill me with happiness or confidence. These differ from person to person and can change over time!

For example, some of mine are: you are beautiful, you are brave, you can and you will don’t lose hope. I have used these to get through difficult situations and look after myself. Saving these several times daily to myself helps me foster a sense of self-love.

If you people like my self-care routine and ways I used to care for myself so please appreciate me through comments and If this seems beneficial for yourself so please try once.
